Wow… The Top 25 Cigar Lists Picked Some Winners This Year
Every year I bash these lists. I mean, the Top 25 cigars for any two people are likely to be very different. But these lists remain to be a great way for a lot of cigar lovers to find new blends to try. And this year, there happen to be some pretty stellar blends popping up on these lists. In this video, I’ll take you through just a few. Drop a comment with your favorite Top 25 picks!

I. Padron Anniversario 1964 | Cigar Aficionado No. 1 Cigar of 2021

The Padron 1964 features 4 year aged tobaccos, and Padron’s expert construction. This blend has become a staple on Top 25 lists nearly every year. But this year it landed in Cigar Aficionado’s No. 1 spot! However, the proof is in the pudding with this blend. Aside from impressing the Top 25 panel judges, this blend continues to dominate the cigar smoking world.
II. Oliva Serie V Maduro | Cigar Snob No. 1 & Cigar Aficionado No. 7 Cigar of 2021

Oliva’s Serie V is no stranger to Top 25 lists. This line is on the list in one size or another nearly every year. This year, the Serie V Melanio Maduro hit two lists. But cigar smokers love this blend as a more affordable (less than $20 per cigar) special occasion cigar. The blend offers a bold but perfectly balanced flavor that makes any special occasion a little more memorable.
III. Drew Estate Undercrown 10 | Cigar Snob No. 11 Cigar of 2021

Frankly, I’m disappointed that this cigar didn’t appear on more top lists of 2021. Drew Estate absolutely knocked it out of the park with this blend. They crafted it to celebrate 10 years of success with the Undercrown line. Now it just seems like they’re poised for another spectacular 10 year run with this bold dressed up blend.
IV. Aganorsa Rare Leaf Reserve | Cigar Snob No. 15 & Cigar Snob No. 8 Cigar of 2021

This is the blend I’m smoking as I craft this post. In just a few short decades, Aganorsa has become a juggernaut of growing tobacco and crafting complex premium blends. This cigar offers a medium strength experience with vivid flavors that are perfect for expanding the palates of growing cigar smokers.
V. Alec & Bradley Kintsugi | Cigar Journal No. 16 & Cigar Aficionado No. 25 Cigar of 2021

Alec & Bradley Rubin are second generation cigar makers in their family, and they wasted no time making waves in the cigar world with their expertly crafted Nicaraguan and Honduran based blends. The Kintsugi is a medium strength cigar that features a bright flavor profile from first puff until the final third.
VI. American Viking Cigars Liga Zebra | Oak Glenn Tobacconist Cigar Society No. 1 Cigar of 2021

I couldn’t be more excited to have the Liga Zebra on a top list. It’s not the accolade that gets me. Instead, it’s the fact that this cigar was voted into it’s top spot by actual cigar users. There were no panels of judges deciding this cigar’s fate, just regular folks voting with their hard earned dollars. I can’t think of a better award to win.
