Life’s Short Journey: Cigars, Old Souls, and the Legacy of Old Men
Life is short. We’ve all heard this before, but my time working in the cigar world has shown me that this is the absolute truth. The older you get, the faster time seems to fly. One of the best things about cigars is that they help us appreciate the little moments of joy that live has to offer. In this video, I’ll share the total perspective that I’ve learned about life from working in cigars. If I could make just one piece of content that you’ll always remember, I hope this is it.

Even the Bible speaks of old age.
Psalms 90:10
Our days may come to seventy years,
or eighty, if our strength endures;
yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow,
for they quickly pass, and we fly away.
Forever thankful for my wife and kids. I’ve had friends come and go, some were even as close as family. In the end people move, relationships fade, people stop calling or texting, but my wife and kids have been there for everything. The good and the bad; we’ve always been here for eachother. That constant has been a huge blessing and a personal motivator when I need one.
Great advise, words to live by.
Good stuff man. What would a combat vet have to do to get a few of Docs sticks to have in the humidor
Well done. Our culture worships youth and technology at the peril of shunning the wisdom of elders. There are some old crotchety jackasses to be sure, but even they have experience at life that younger people don’t.
